Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician with a strong background in a wide range of automotive services and repairs. The ideal candidate must have dealership experience, with Porsche-specific experience being highly preferred. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in automotive service and repair, with a deep knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and fix problems efficiently. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards and that our customers receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

    • Brake and Steering Systems: Repair and maintain brake and steering systems to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
    • Electrical and Electronic Systems: Diagnose and repair issues within electrical and electronic systems, ensuring all vehicle components function correctly.
    • Transmissions and Fuel Components: Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed, optimizing vehicle performance and reliability.
    • Cooling Systems: Repair cooling components and systems, including air conditioners and engine cooling, to prevent overheating and ensure comfort.
    • Emissions and Safety Checks: Perform emissions inspections, safety checks, and other state-regulated vehicle examinations to comply with legal standards.
    • Maintenance of Workplace: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
    • Documentation: Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting the work performed on each vehicle.
    • Test Drives: Conduct test drives as needed, requiring a valid state driver’s license.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service and repair.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes and technology.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for automobiles, particularly Porsche models, is a plus.
  • Must have previous dealership experience

Compensation:

  • Performance pay plan up to $80 hourly rate, $72,000 to $150,000 per year depending on experience, plus performance bonuses.
